Refund Policy
Textbook Refund Periods:
  • Fall and Spring Semesters. Three weeks from start of classes.
  • Summer and Short-Term. One week from the start of classes.
  • Textbooks purchased after the above timeline must be returned/exchanged within 24 hours of purchase.
For all full refund of New Textbooks the book must be returned in NEW condition (no marks, writing, creases, etc.). If not in new condition books may be returned at 75% of the NEW price.* (SBVC Bookstore reserves the right to assess the saleable condition of all returned merchandise.
DO NOT UNWRAP OR WRITE IN YOUR BOOK(S) UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU ARE GOING TO KEEP THEM!
No refunds will be granted on shrink-wrapped books that have been opened, or books that have missing media, or components, including disks.
General Books, Supplies, Electronics, Gifts, Sportswear, and Software must be in new condition, in original packaging and returned within 3 business days from the date of purchase to qualify for a refund.
REFUND REQUIREMENTS
An original sales receipt is required for all returns. Returns without receipts will be denied. Personal check transactions have a 7-day waiting period from the date the check was written to qualify for a cash refund. Credit, Debit & Gift card transactions must be refunded to the original account charged.
